The “Drawing Project” at the Frost Art Museum… What is it?

The concept is to do an on-line exhibition where pieces from the Frost’s permanent collection, are displayed along with international work selected by the Drawing Research Network, art work by local Miami artists, and a special curatorial section of work from contemporary women artists from the Girls’ Club Collection.

Many of the pieces picked have never been exhibited in the Museum.

Artists include internationally renowned artists such as Jean Cocteau, Shirin Neshat and Robert Rauschenberg, and local artists such as Jenny Brillhart and Kevin Arrow.

This collaborative investigation, is curated by artist/educator and FIU graduate Emmy Mathis.
